Cross Country -
Cross country running is a sport in which teams and individuals run a race on open-air courses over natural terrain.
Basketball –
This is a sport played by two teams of five players on a rectangular court. The objective is to shoot a ball through a hoop, which is mounted high to a backboard at each end. Basketball is one of the world’s most popular and widely viewed sports. There is a Junior High team, High School girls team, and High School boys team.
Mix 6 Volleyball -
This is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team’s court under organized rules. There has to be at least one boy on the court, and there could be three boys on the court.
Native Youth Olympics -
N.Y.O is a sport for participants to gain confidence and improve self esteem. N.Y.O puts an emphasis on flexibility, power, balance, concentration, agility, physical strength, and stamina. There are medals given out for first, second, and third place finishers in each event in both the boys and girls divisions. Certificates are given for fourth place, fifth place, and general participation. There are events that the participants participate in and these events are:
- One-foot high kick
- Two-foot high kick
- One arm reach
- Alaskan High Kick
- Seal Hop
- Wrist carry
- Toe Kick
- Alaskan Stick Pull
- Indian Stick Pull
- Kneel Jump
